Thought I would share a few pics.
I drove 50 miles and picked up a 40s era ford flathead power unit. Seemed like the perfect job for my truck.

Looking good! I've never seen sideboards set up like that before, where you could remove just half of it. Interesting touch.

Very nice looking truck you've got there. What top speed did you run on the trip, mine only runs about 40 - 45 mph with 7.50s.

Please tell me more about your OD and differential setup. I'm rebuilding a 1948 1.5T, and wish to be able to both haul a load of wheat to the elevator and travel on the highway at good speed. 65 would be nice. I think I'm going to wind up with a 292 due ease of finding parts.
