Or is it in the right position ? fuel line postion Thanks,Tim

I also had a flex hose coming from the frame to tank but anyone could have done that over the years. I considered my panel as original but we never know.

The FAM shows mostly 54/55st illustrations. The location of the fuel line coming out of top of the fuel tank changed in 54. My 54 had that long line "inside the frame" and it had a flex hose somewhere between the line and the fuel pump. I do not remember if there is a flex hose at the tank.

No flex line was on the tank to steel line.
I made brand new stainless steel lines and was questioning myself when looking at it.The original fuel line was in the cargo area of the suburban,awaiting a new fuel tank.I used a portable boat fuel tank to start it and drive onto trailer when I bought it.
