I've been reading these forums since the beginning of summer when my wife picked up a 1955 first series 3600 stake bed that we've been working on. Since it's a New Mexico truck, there's mostly just surface rust and she's in pretty good shape, but there's still a lot to be done. Working on the brakes and the electrical system first, then moving on slowly. Anyway, a NM Stovebolt has to be in wonderful condition due to your low humidity out there. Good luck on your restoration!!

We felt pretty lucky to find the truck in the condition it was in. The driver's side fender has a bit of wrinkle, but that may just be a bad bondo job. Looks like a pretty nice truck to work on. You can find all the help you need right here on the Bolt.
You might want to start a thread in the DIY Forum telling about your truck and linking the picture. Peggy, or one of her helpers will post it in the gallery and then you can add to the thread/post as you go along and folks can follow you.....and not everyone checks in here in the Welcome Centre every time they sign in.
