Back in 1975 my wife and I purchased a beautiful Orchard and with it was all sorts of equipment. Best of all was a well used 1954 Chev flat bed truck 3800. Over the years it was used to haul Apples and Cherries to the processor. Shortly after buying the orchard our family had a vote on what color we needed to paint the truck. Prowler Red won out. Through the years I restored it, adding headers, 4 barrel car and best of all a Gear Venders Overdrive to the 235 engine. 39 years of a wonderful truck and still going.
I have not figured out how to post some pictures, can some one help me?

Welcome to the Stovebolt, 3800rao. Sounds like you are very familiar with the truck. That is a great story. Headers and a 4 barrel with OD on a 235 sounds real interesting. I'll bet some other bolters will be asking you question

Click down in the lower left corner of this page for posting pictures. If that doesn't help then go to the IT Forum and ask those guys.
Basically we do not post pictures here... but rather post links to the pictures. Example: I have my pictures hosted on Photobucket and I just post a link to them.

Good luck, we're here to help when help is needed. There is also other bolters in Oregon so be on the lookout for them.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
