Thx! GiG | | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 255 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 255 | My seat back had 3 screws at the top that held it in to the tube frame. Once that was removed, the seat bottom came out by pulling forward and up on the back end of the seat bottom. 1950 GMC regular deluxe cab. Good luck. If you want to remove the frame there are four studs with nuts on top that come off the tracks in the corners. You can see them in this shot, you will also need to remove the clamp you can see mid-frame from the cable. A word of caution the corners on the bottom are usually full of spilled coke and junk. Spray them with a good penetrating oil as they will snap off. https://www.flickr.com/photos/advance-design_parts_co/8129072768/in/set-72157631867396207KMAC | | | | | Joined: Aug 2014 Posts: 35 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2014 Posts: 35 | thank you both! got the seat out... working on fuel tank now.
