Any tips or prior threads to remove a seat/base to gain access to fuel tank? We are struggling to get mine out.

Thx! GiG

My seat back had 3 screws at the top that held it in to the tube frame. Once that was removed, the seat bottom came out by pulling forward and up on the back end of the seat bottom. 1950 GMC regular deluxe cab. Good luck. Jim

Here is a shot of my seat frame, as stated above once the three screws are removed the cushions will pop out. If you want to remove the frame there are four studs with nuts on top that come off the tracks in the corners. You can see them in this shot, you will also need to remove the clamp you can see mid-frame from the cable. A word of caution the corners on the bottom are usually full of spilled coke and junk. Spray them with a good penetrating oil as they will snap off.
