Hello Stovebolters!

I have just purchased a 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton to restore. I have wanted a truck like this for many years and now had the opportunity to start the dream.

These forums have already been a wealth of knowledge when researching my purchase and now that I have joined the owners club wanted to join the community. This will be a frame off resto. More to come!

Welcome John, looks like it's mostly all there. Hope you enjoy the restoration process, be sure to visit here if you need help. Someone has already done it before.

JohnMac, welcome to the bolt. We're here for you. Just post questions in the most appropriate forum for max results. This is the best site on the web for old Chevy and GMC trucks....the BEST.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
