Went to the show at local VA hospital yesterday. No judging or trophies. Everyone went into the hospital and wheeled out a disabled vet. Pushed them around the show and then had a BBQ lunch with them. What a great time! Best show ever.

It seems more and more car clubs are doing the same. A great idea. Thanks to your group for providing a few minutes of, I hope, a relaxing and enjoyable time for those Vets.

...the club I belong to also does this and the last time we went to an assisted living place and to watch some of the folks reminence would bring tears to your eyes. We also got to a local orphanage and take the kids there for a ride. Talk about smiles!

Johnsmith, thanks for sharing. I'm sure others will do it to.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

One of the groups I'm in, Brazos River Cruisers, is hosting a show and shine at a local nursing home next Saturday. Show like this are always a great time.
