1951 half ton chevy, vacumn wiper unit or motor under the dash seems to be missing a shaft or attachment that goes to the chrome switch on the dash .Does it have a part name so i will know what i am looking for and there seems to be rubber bushings that fell apart just by touching them on the arm of the motor and switch. Thanks for any feedback on this!! BJF

The connecting shaft is easy to make yourself. I made one from the wire hook of an old trouble light but a piece of coat hanger would do as well. Look at the picture of the part and make the appropriate bends with a pair of pliers. You can measure the distance between the control knob and where it connects on the wiper. It's around 2 1/2 or 3 inches. I would have purchased one but the shipping would be real expensive and I'm cheap anyway.
