Its about the best way I know of. Once boxed some folks speak of Greyhound being the less expensive but its been discovered it depends a lot on the one you choose. I know that from experience. I paid 100 bucks for a complete door to be shipped from Utah to here in S.C. by UPS. Personally, I like shipping Fed-X and if you have an account with them you save....and if you can ship to a business address you can save a couple more bucks..... hope this helps. | | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 Sir Searchalot | | Sir Searchalot Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,983 |

The shipping agent at the Albany, NY Greyhound bus depot is a grumpy, disinterested, and argumentative person.
FedEX ground is best price and service in my area.

Greyhound Package Express is the cheapest when it comes to shipping doors. The trade off is, you have to deal with the sub-human service counter monkey's at the bus station and most of time they don't even know what planet they are on. Your mileage may vary..... https://www.greyhound.com/en/Newsroom/viewrelease.aspx?id=105&year=2000. | | |
