Even if they are the optional 15s, I believe 4" or 4.5" were the widths, they will be too narrow for a 235/75/15, which needs at east a 6" wheel for proper sidewall support. A 215/75/15 would fit better, even then it's pushing the minimum width for the tire.

Brand new wheels that look the same as your vintage ones, yet have all of the modern symmetrical changes. Things like disc brakes, modern radial widths, etc. A great idea if funds allow. If not, last time I had 235/75/R15 tires put on my actual vintage 15 rims, I just had Walmart do it.
