I looked inside the glove box: the back of the glove box seems to be made out of cardboard and there's nothing on the metal glove box door.

How'd you get a 4 speed in your Apache? Modified thru the floor board? | | | | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 | What can't you figure out? That is a white truck?
The four speed is an original unit. It has that so called "granny" first gear.

I see the code for the exterior (721A), which says it should be pure white. What about the color code for the interior? Shouldn't it be on the same plate? | | | | Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 1,262 | No interior color options, Only one color. | | | | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 | Hot Rod, On that same plate/tag, do you know what the Trim #'s represent?

Lots of great data.. here's a link: http://gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm...hevrolet-Trucks/1961-Chevrolet-Truck.pdfOn the 63-66 trucks "Trim" = the applicable RPO code. Not sure about a '61. Go to page 36 in the pdf I linked above, page "Cabs and Bodies 3". Lots of pertinent data there and on the following pages. Hope that helps! PS: Want to part with that '65 'vette of yours? Got any photos of your rides we could check out? John | | | | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 51 | Hot Rod John
That Vehicle Info Kit was great. I was able to document some additional items on my '61.
Thanks
My 65 vette is a good driver and I'll probably hang on to it.

The four speed is an original unit. It has that so called "granny" first gear. The good old SM420. I have one in my 1962. Great transmission for a truck. | | |
