We have another thread going about the May 10th gathering but so far here is the list I have taken from responses and phone calls.

Time is flying by so we need to cut something in stone if were going junk yarding and then be at the Plaza at noon.
So far I have.......

my54
Achipmunk .............confirmed
Chip & Cheryl
Keith
R-Bo & Aaron
Lugnutz (& Ruth?)......confirmed
Travis "BigOlDog"
Johns Truck ...........confirmed
George Bond ??
Katkatcher ............confirmed

Who do I need to add or take off??? I guess I'll have to send a note to the email list I have as it looks like not all are tuning in here?!

I'll also try to get with Jay "lugnutz" who is down there for a time and place to meet up. So, maybe you better watch this thread and the other one as well.

Alvin

I say we try to meet at the Cruise-In for the Gabfest around 1PM. That will give us a little more time for the junkyard crawl. I'll call Roger (the owner) today and see what his plans are on the 10th.

Katkatcher, the junk yards are Branhams place. He has two close together and one more just down the road. Lugnutz gave the address in a post somewhere so I'll find it. I will be getting talking to Jay in the next day or two for a time to meet and where. I'd say probably around 8 or 8:30am. We can at least walk the yards and see if there is something we want to come back and get...or take some tools and get a few things as we go along...or make a deal to come back?? What ever works.

We will all meet up at the plaza at 1pm for some truck talk!

Enjoying meeting you at Homecoming! All the best,

Victor, your a true to the bone Bolter. It was my pleasure to spend some time with you and thanks for driving your nice Grumman, aka Doughboy, to the Homecoming.

Sure wish you could drive down to but I do understand. We'll just make you and honorary member of the Southern Bolters. How about that!!

(I take it the axle seal is holding up well)

OK guys and gals. It looks like we're set to go to. We'll meet at the address for Branhams if you plan to go junk yarding. You can get there 8am when they open or later. I'm sure you'll find us there! I may be about 8:30 getting there. Its two hours from my house to Branhams..... and about 30 minutes from Branhams to the Plaza. Therefore, we should have some good junk yarding time and still be at the Plaza at 1PM.

John, I'll call you, George B, you still planning to go junk yarding? How about you rest of you on the list above? Katkatcher,....looking forward to meeting up with ya.

Comments?

I dont know that I'll make the junk yard but will be at the plaza. If someone wouldn't mind while junk yarding, I could use a hub cap as I'm missing one. I'll bring cash to pay whomever if something is found. See y'all soon thanks.

Lugnutz, My little brother has a 65 fleet side we are working on. so we might have some questions for you in the near future.

I checked out your steering wheel resto and think I might give it a try. I really like the way the impala steering wheel looks on my truck. allways liked those kind of horn rings. still cant believe the price ive wanted one for a long time but couldn't see paying upwards of 150 to 200 for one. I have less than 40 in it. happy happy happy.
