I was thinking sometime in June, after I get back from the A.T.H.S convention in Springfield Mo.. So give me some dates that are acceptable and we'll narrow it down from there, June 1st is out as that is my return day from the convention, so what say y'all? | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,997 Big Bolt Forum Co-moderator | | Big Bolt Forum Co-moderator Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,997 | Any day in June is good for me, except Father's Day. Burgundybolt, got any extra six cylinder engines hanging around that you'd like to get rid of, or is it going to be a ride the motorcycle day? All who read this are welcome to come, just bring what you'd like to cook and drink with you, I'll check with she who must be obeyed to see what we'll provide other than coffee. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 37 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 37 | Hi Bobb, I see in the local paper the downtown village classic is on that day as well. So what would everyone like to do? I'll make some suggestions and we'll see which one the majority prefers. A)Move the date to the 21st B)Keep the date and come here after the car show (I know that will make for a long day) C)Move the date to the 29th D) If you have another suggestion please post it here. So what say you people? | | | | | Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2004 Posts: 1,312 | Best laid plans..... Had not made any firm plans on Chilliwack Show, but understand other guys wanting to keep date clear. 21st looks like some kind of classic truck and tractor show in Cloverdale ? , 29th would work for us. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 843 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 843 | option A,and B work for us.Not C

We could probably arrange a "shuttle" service out to my place if anyone got bored with the car show and wanted to come out here, or if anyone not exhibiting a vehicle in the car show wanted to go and see the car show. We could cook supper here after the car show and you could hang out here as long as you like. So what does everyone think of that idea? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 37 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 37 | A and C will work for me, But B will be tough. I can come over for a short time after the show but have to leave early to milk the cows. Maybe a Saturday picknick and a sunday show could work?? Either way I will plan to attend as best I can. Gerry | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Guys, I think the best thing to do would be to keep the 22nd as the date, we can pickup people that want to put their vehicle in the show and transport them back here if they would like, and we could also transport people into the show from here if they would like to see the show. We could give those who wish to see the show a two hour or so window and then transport them back here. If anyone sees any major flaws with this plan please point them out. Could everyone re-confirm their intentions, thanks.

Was asking Boyd about the annual BBQ when we were chatting on Facebook and there is a pretty good chance I (or we) can make it on the 22nd... I will be on the island at our big annual yearly dog rescue get together the day before so assuming that goes well and we get an early ferry back and don't end up staying there overnight I should be able to make the 3Barbeque Will confirm once I know more about our other event... ~Trev | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Trev, sounds good, I was hopping you might check in. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 139 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 139 | I'll be there with the 235 eng in tow in the back of my lil Sonoma. what time should we descend on tri-five farms after the car show? 3 or 4'ish?
