Hy Guys, well I guess the weather is going to get better eventually, so it must be time to set a date for my annual pick a nik. I was thinking sometime in June, after I get back from the A.T.H.S convention in Springfield Mo.. So give me some dates that are acceptable and we'll narrow it down from there, June 1st is out as that is my return day from the convention, so what say y'all?

Any time's good for me, Bobb, if they let me come home. I'll actually have some kinda dirty truck to drive there, even.

Hy Guys, okay nobody has suggested a date, so I'll suggest one, June 22nd one week after Fathers day. Any newcomers want to come, and where are all the people who almost always come. Should I be posting this somewhere else to let everyone know???

Would like to come so where are you located? Of course I'll have to sell empty drink cans to raise the $120 for the ferry.

Hy Guys, it sounds like June 22nd is acceptable to everyone, any other people, firstimers other than Sedgewick from Vancouver Island want come??? Burgundybolt, got any extra six cylinder engines hanging around that you'd like to get rid of, or is it going to be a ride the motorcycle day? All who read this are welcome to come, just bring what you'd like to cook and drink with you, I'll check with she who must be obeyed to see what we'll provide other than coffee.

Hy guys, I just came on to post about the potential problem with the "Village Classic Car Show" here in Chilliwack, I just saw the date announced in the local paper last night, but I see Gerry has already been here. So what would everyone like to do? I'll make some suggestions and we'll see which one the majority prefers.
A)Move the date to the 21st
B)Keep the date and come here after the car show (I know that will make for a long day)
C)Move the date to the 29th
D) If you have another suggestion please post it here.
So what say you people?

Best laid plans.....
Had not made any firm plans on Chilliwack Show, but understand other guys wanting to keep date clear. 21st looks like some kind of classic truck and tractor show in Cloverdale ? , 29th would work for us.

Hy Guys, Okay, if we keep the date and end up here after the car show, how many would put their car in the car show? We could probably arrange a "shuttle" service out to my place if anyone got bored with the car show and wanted to come out here, or if anyone not exhibiting a vehicle in the car show wanted to go and see the car show. We could cook supper here after the car show and you could hang out here as long as you like. So what does everyone think of that idea?

A and C will work for me, But B will be tough. I can come over for a short time after the show but have to leave early to milk the cows. Maybe a Saturday picknick and a sunday show could work?? Either way I will plan to attend as best I can. Gerry

Hy Guys, I think the best thing to do would be to keep the 22nd as the date, we can pickup people that want to put their vehicle in the show and transport them back here if they would like, and we could also transport people into the show from here if they would like to see the show. We could give those who wish to see the show a two hour or so window and then transport them back here. If anyone sees any major flaws with this plan please point them out. Could everyone re-confirm their intentions, thanks.

Hey Bobb,
We're pretty flexable. I can go with plans A, B, C or even D. Oops, no D.
I'm looking forward to it no matter what happens.

Hey guys...

Was asking Boyd about the annual BBQ when we were chatting on Facebook and there is a pretty good chance I (or we) can make it on the 22nd...

I will be on the island at our big annual yearly dog rescue get together the day before so assuming that goes well and we get an early ferry back and don't end up staying there overnight I should be able to make the 3Barbeque wink

Will confirm once I know more about our other event...

Hy Guys, as per usual the pic a nic will start at 11:00 A.M. and go to ????. So let me know all of you who want to put your vehicles on display at the car show and we'll figure out how to get you back here if you wish to come. The rest of you can show up around 11:00 A.M. and if you want to go and see the car show we'll figure something out.

Hi Bobb,

Boyd & Susan / Tammy and I are planning on being out to your place around noon. Not putting trucks in the show. May hitch a ride to the show if it works out.
