For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 66 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 66 | Anybody know where I might find a saddle blanket seat cover for a 46? Have found other types, but no saddle blanket. Thank you. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,750 | Scott,I got a horse blanket style cover from LMC although mine is for an AD truck. I ordered it as a cheap alternative to allow me to use mine before I dropped the big $$ on a proper bespoke upholstered seat. It appears to be more of a cover, rather than a replacement for the original. It took a bit of wrestling to get it on as it's one piece but it'll do for now,i've since trimmed it around the retaining tabs on top of the backrest. Might be worth checking out. Here's how mine turned out.

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.

Don't recall seeing one in a truck lately. Back then I thought that was how they came! | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 442 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 442 | there are a few on Ebay , if not check Cabelas or even JC Whitney. These are fairly common to find. Seriously good stuff for the old truck. While you are there, go the K&I Diner on south Broadway and order a Travis. I hear its a really cool experience.

Instead of using the Universal Saddle blanket seat covers for my 39 (probably a bit on the big side), I am thinking about having my seats custom upholstered with saddle blankets. El Paso Saddle Blanket is just down the road from me and I can take a look at what they have. Web site: http://www.saddleblanket.com/store/index.html Look under saddle blankets and area rugs. Saddle blankets are a bit pricey, rugs and blankets more affordable. It could be a unique southwest look. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | Now you're talkin, can't wait to se the pictures.
