I am a retired engineer, living near Atlanta, Georgia, and am willing to travel cross-country with trailer for the right truck.
I am also looking forward to the learning experience - I have two mid-60s Chevrolets, but have never owned a "Stovebolt". I think I saw what appeared to be a good deal on a 5 window in the Swap Meet last night. Check out the Trucks for Sale Forum and keep watch on it.
I was in Atlanta yesterday. Big City. LOL
We will most likely have a gathering at the Atlanta Dragway before the year is out. A bolter, Brad54 runs the Swap meet there the first, or 2nd Saturday of each month and its a great place to spend the day. "wayenvert" and some guys down in Florida meet a couple times a year. I'd love to get down to one of those.
your surrounded by Bolters. Great folks and lots of Knowledge. Take your time, learn how to do a search, check out the tech tips and vendors links....... and remember. No such things as stupid questions here. Just post the questions in the best forum for max results.
