Getting ready to do rubbers/felts on my 52 Chevy half ton. Those outer rubber wipes are confusing me as they are kind of t-shaped with one edge slanting down and one edge slanting up which side faces the glass as I don't want to put them in backwards. Also the beaded window seal clips what are they used for and how to use them. Thanks HUGH

kahoys, if its the wiper that slides in the little track inside the door, I put mine in with the "slant" facing up to wipe as the window is rolled up. Does this make any sense to you? I wish I'd taken a pic but didn't on that one.

The "wipes" as you called them fit on the lip on the door. on the outside skin. There is a left and a right and the "slant" follows the shape at the back of the window opening. It should slant up with the curve of the window opening. Try typing window sweeps in the search function and you will get lots of information. There is a rubber wiper that fits into a groove in the door just below where the "fuzzy" part goes. It can be fun to install as well. There is another fuzzy that fits on the window trim it is straight. So what you have are 2 fuzzy parts that keep the window from rattling and a rubber sweep that helps with water. Clear? I think it is time to do that search. Happy reading.

...and be aware that some vendors do not carry the fuzzy's that turn up at the back of the door. I found out AFTER I had ordered some and they were straight. At the time I found out that only one vendor carried them with the curve in them. Ask Denny!!

Yep, I found that out as well; consequently, I have a spare set of straight "fuzzy's" (anti rattle). I purchased the part with the turn up from LMC truck. Part #38-5611 includes the anti-rattle and rubber wipers for both doors and cost $9.95.
