I also used it on the cab floor, it helped to provide a little bit of sound deadening. It's not hard to work with, I used the Duplicolor brand which also comes in a spray version.

Make sure all the primer/paint in on the bed sheet-metal/wood is well adhered to the metal.
Otherwise, liner will cause separation after a while.

Also does not show scratches from stepping on it like shiny paint does, but does easily show dirt. I think it makes the truck look more utilitarian.

IMO the only way to go is with a product that is sprayed on hot and has a lifetime guarantee. I went back the next spring and had all 4 fenders done for $100 each and would do it again without hesitation for the noise differential alone.
