Alvin and Gang ...

Anyone have a schedule for 2014 Southern Bolters Gabfest events? I would love to host another get-together ... but my plate is overflowing this year. I'm getting married in April and my schedule is completely booked even one month after the wedding. wink

Hope to see everyone again this year!

Ernie, glad to see you chip in here. Man, I thought you got married LAST year smile

There is no "schedule" that I know of for the Southern Bolters. Currently my wife left today headed to the coast with her sister to check on their dad. We are hoping he is going to be able to stay by himself, as he wishes to do, but we are expecting anything. On top of that, Victoria, and me, want to see the grandkids in Ohio since we've not been able to see them since last May.......its constant motion at my house so I'm afraid to schedule anything.

I'll try to make any event but to put one on is sort of out of the question for right now.

I still think anyone in Tenn to Fl and in between would be great.

NOW....I think I've mentioned to some about a BIG parking lot in Columbia/Lexington S.C. at exit 111, I think, where folks just gather on the first weekend of the month. It'd be nice to just have a gathering someplace like that where we can meet up, spend the day and enjoy company. There is a Wendy's close by for those needing refreshments. LOTS of cars and truck and we could put up a tent, hang the flag, and join up there. No big planning, cooking ect.

I will be glad to check with Jay who lives close by and see if he can find out which day/weekend and we'll just advertise and DO IT.
IF all goes well, I'm good about anytime on a Saturday.

HOWEVER, a lot of folks can't drive the distance, some can, but not all, so therefore we need have some in more places. I want to make it to one with Wayne in Fl.

Anyone can post if you want to do it. I WILL plan to organize one for sometime in May. The first Saturday ??? I'll let you know.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
