Well boys, looks like ol Man Winter is going to mess with us again. Supposed to be 52 dungarees here tomorrow and then things will turn big time. On my Weather Channel app it is saying 6-12" in Fulks Run, Mechanicsville,and here at the Northern Maryland Stovebolt Annex in Dayton for Monday. I think it is still a little early for those types of predictions but either way, this weather and another "event" later in the week could seriously impact the possibility of a JYT this year. Heck, they are calling for the low here Monday night to be 1 degree!!!.
Boy, sure does make me anxious for the Homecoming. It can't get here soon enough. I just hope I don't have to shovel snow to get '46 out of the garage that weekend!!!

Looks like a repeat of several years ago. They are calling for up to 18" of the white stuff here... we shall see.

At this rate, the Homecoming is in serious danger of being snowed out.

We'll still be in the thick of battle. My 89 Flatbed slush fund is in great shape right now and this may help the cab bodywork fund. I only need my Ol' Red to keep up the fight.

Darn, that hurts! Currently 16 degrees here at work and dropping like a rock. Suppose to be single digits tonight. Just taking a break from plowing. Didn't amount to anything near their predictions, maybe 6 inches here in Chevy Chase.


You better put some aloe on that sunburn there Big Easy.....

Same here as far as snowfall goes. Called for 18" and got around 6". Hopefully it goes away quick, fast and in a hurry.

We have at most 4-5", only a couple inches in the driveway.
Let's hope it clears before Friday!

Amen to that

The Big Easy is home (4 a.m.). Said "no traffic!" Now plowing the drive, turning compost, cleaning all the mess off Paniolo. Keeping the home fire going strong! It's cold here.

Who's going to George's?? Vic bought some year-at-a-glance calendars from Winchester, showing a line up of the trucks ... John was going to take them to the WC. Can anyone take them. It's a "gift" from Vic.

Does anyone want Stovebolt t-shirts? I can send them along, too. Just need your size. They are $10. Or you can wait until Homecoming.

I'll be leaving as early as possible on Friday morning with Josh in tow, staying till Saturday and leaving at normal time after the junkyard. Peggy, I'll prolly come over after work to get the stuff.

George, I am waiting to hear from the shop that has the GMC. It was suppose to be ready for pick up two weeks ago. I talked to them Monday and they said this weekend.... I am hoping that they will let me pick it up on Sunday. If it is a Saturday only pickup, I might have to bail. The shop owner and a couple of his guys all plow snow so they have been affected by the weather too.

Sorry I'll miss all you guys that can't seem to get your priorities straight!

Leaving now. I-81 route say 2hrs, but I'm taking the scenic route, 340, so may take a bit longer...especially if something catches my eye.

First day of the JYT is complete. We hit WV, then Frankies for a while. Just finished the mandatory pork tenderloin meal and ready to prep for tomorrow. There are 5 of us in attendance and I will ensure that no fun is had. At one point today I saw Mike R smiling and I told him to stop. There will be no happiness until we are joined by our brothers.

My apologies Gentlemen, but I'll not be able to make it today. Variety of reasons beyond my control, but I am sad to miss it.

George, I may need to take you up on that ad hoc tour offer later in the year. Thanks for extending it.
