Just a quick question about front fender size on 41-46 big bolts.

I think the front fenders are the same on 1.5 and 2 ton trucks, but are they also the same between 1, 1.5 and 2? (obviously not for 1/2 ton).

Also I think the inner fenders are the same for all trucks, correct? (1/2 ton - 2 ton)

1/2, 3/4, & 1T are the same, 1.5T & up are a different shape, appears 46 is different than earlier years - interchangeable models listed here

Hy Jay_Brown, According to my Canadian parts book the half and three quarter ton fenders are the same, the one ton through two ton fenders are the same and all the inner fenders (skirts)are the same. In Canada we have two and a half and three ton trucks as well (Maple Leaf) and their fenders are the same as each other, but larger than two ton fenders, hope that helps.

I have seen at least 4 different sizes '41-'47 front fenders, including 1/2 ton. I found a set of full width, 1 1/2 ton fenders on a school bus, which have the large wheel cutout but fit a full width axle in a 1 ton 4WD I am putting together. I have seen another pair. I don't know if this is what you have in mind, but they would fit your needs if what you want. Just have to look around.

1/2 and 3/4 are the same. My 1 ton is larger than the 1/2 and 3/4 but not as big as 1.5 and 2 ton. So I'd say three sizes with the 1 ton all by itself. Although if the 1 ton came with 19.5" wheels it may have the larger fender, mine has 17".

I doubt that 1 and 1.5 ton are the same, 16 and 17 inch vs. 20 inch tires, make sure to check out the ad carefully. The 1.5 ton ones are also cut in farther toward the center, look unusual on 1 ton trucks, 2 ton also used 20 in wheels, most I have seen are same size as 1.5 ton wheels.
