Anyone ever bought one of their harnesses like this one:

I am fully aware of the competition and people like EZ Wiring, Painless, Ron Francis, Kwik Wire, American Autowire, Rebel Wire etc.

Just looking for some feedback on this particular brand if anyone has first hand experience.

I've pretty much reduced my shortlist to this company or EZ Wiring at this point for a variety of reasons.

I've never bought one of theirs, but it looks like a good one. I wired many a vehicle and know how difficult it can be with a lousy harness. Maybe someone can give us more info on this company.

I'll be honest the reason I am leaning towards them has to do primarily with the gauge wire they use but of course a sales pitch and an actual experience could vary drastically.

I installed the EZ wire system. Works fine for me. Pretty easy to follow the instructions. Good technical advice from the company also.

I got the ez2wire kit from this guy on ebay - terrible service. I paid for it immediately, but the guy never shipped and reported me to e-bay as a non-pay deadbeat. Look at his feedback - he has a really bad habit of selling product he doesn't have. I finally got the product and was less than impressed with it. Stick with the name brand stuff.

I agree with "Desert_buick", you get what you pay for. You can buy a good product from someone like EZ wire without having to help pay for a NASCAR team. Also, bad feedback at eBay sends up a huge red flag. Tread carefully, Grasshopper.

I purchased mine from EZ wire on thier site. I went back and called about color coding and wire gauges and they faxed straight away. I have not installed but read through the instructions and between them and Stovebolt I think I should have some fun (vacation on 6-15-07 till 7-8-07). Yep back to OK to play truck. I have also decided to base that istall on the foundation of MAD's starter kit (new item all inclusive for 130). I have not purchased fronm MAD but talked to him on the phone and he loves to talk electrical. Convinced me by reading his site as well.

Hmm the guy I am looking at has 17 negatives versus 2374 positives and only 3 in the last 6 months. Are we sure we're talking about the same guy?

I know EZWiring has the reputation but to be honest I can't see a difference in comparing their specs to EZ2Wire which is the eBay retailer I was looking at. In fact if anything the scales of balance are tilting in favor of EZ2Wire over EZWiring.

I'll stick with Hot Rod Wires. I used their 12 circuit harness in my '56 and was very impressed.

I installed the EZwire harness on my truck and liked it. No real problems other than ones I created myseld. If I had to buy another one today I'd go with EZwire again...

I bought the EZ wire harness after reading Texmo's post on the Tech Tip page.
Although i havent installed it yet, it looks like it is user friendly. The wires are labled every 6 inches. Just put them where they go.
Just remember, it does not come with ground wire.

Robin,does EZwire have just the harness for headlights? Cost? M/G
