Plus, I could see this being the paint trim and wheel scheme I go with on my truck. Still needs some work to be t-shirt worthy but since I haven't seen any panel truck shirts I liked I figure I'll make my own. Check it out. http://i.imgur.com/HIXVABe.jpg

Chunky Fitzpanel http://i.imgur.com/hYcNF0Q.jpgWorking on some freelance work but I'll crank out a suburban version early this week. I'll just need to find some good side view pics of the windows and the rear doors. | | | | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 7 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 7 | That is sweeet. I would buy a T and Sweat with that on it. Very cool. Rick

I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I would like to have one with a Suburban also. Where do I sign? It really is cute. If you get it done and get it "set up someplace" (however that works), let us know (editor@stovebolt.com) and we'll put a little box in the side panel for you. I'm sure some folks would like to get a few. If you made one of Poppa's truck, I KNOW they'd add that to their collection of Stovebolt t-shirts that they have!
Very cool. (Wish I could do that!)

I am still working on a couple of versions and trying to figure out where I can get quality digital one-off prints done for framing. For shirts I'd have to decide on a neutral/popular color and get those set up for screen printing. Meantime here's a couple more I did based on a couple of photos. This was supposed to be a GMC but I was concentrating on getting the patina right and cutting out the carryall sides. http://i.imgur.com/lCspMRf.pngHere's a bare metal one in a couple of angles... with and without eyes. http://i.imgur.com/n8EDXwL.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/52UlnGE.png | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 25 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 25 | If you made one of Poppa's truck...

Truck was a model I purchased that was originally for POSER but I edited and deformed it in Cinema4D (both 3d programs).
I've seen someone do something similar to this using photoshop though. It could probably be done with some creative layering and the liquify tool for distortion. | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 25 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 25 | kicking around the idea of a military theme for my truck to commemorate my time on active duty and military service in general. it wouldn't be time period specific, more 'general military' i'd mark the number of jumps i've done with little parachutes, throw a set of C-130 troop cargo seats on each side of the cargo area, throw a korean war era keep blackout light on the front splash apron opposite the license plate. maybe have all my duty stations hand lettered on the inside of one of the back doors. of course.. classic korean war paint scheme though. http://i.imgur.com/wZVc0zS.jpgHere's the cargo area seats i'm thinking of. https://yy1.staticflickr.com/4102/4878210202_176790fbe9_z.jpgThey'd match the red rims (which I think I want to keep because it sets it off a little as opposed to OD) | | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 77 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 77 | Like, on the Korean War themed panel.

It'd probably end up as a bit of a mish-mosh of time periods since I'd probably want to also memorialize my uncle who was KIA in vietnam serving with Americal.
Question is.. do i want to be the guy in the neighborhood with 'army truck' vs the guy with the 'old truck'
I almost feel like I'd drive it more regularly if it was bare metal or flat black. But, that might be okay.
