I'm Mack, originally from the Isle of Man (any motorbike fans here?) and now Newcastle, but I work on boats so I get about a bit. Currently in Florida. I've spent a few days filling my head with every scrap of information I can read on this site. It's sloshing around in there a bit now. My girlfriend and I have a project back in the UK, being built by The Intergalactic Custom Shop. The purists might not like it, but I've been having impure thoughts as long as I can remember. It's a 1950 GMC COE cab based custom (sat on a G30 based RV chassis). Mate I'm in North Devon so when she is rolling cruise down park up have a surf a beer and watch the sun set and say what on earth lead us to build . Yeah I'm lurking in the hippo shop ,I think those purest are only in a MG car club , the bolt web sight seam to be bunch of good blokes .Your truck is defiantly my trucks big blot brother, you gotta love the DLVA rules on old girls ,no tax no MOT, happy days ,

Great old COE and I definitely like where you are going with it. I'd been looking for a COE to convert to an RV in a similar fashion but never could find one with enough metal left to work with (wound up with a '46 Chevy school bus).
