I am looking into getting a new floor. Most of the companies sell the whole floor with seat riser. Almost all of them are on back order. I see LMC has one that says it is for 49-55.
I thought the only difference between 47-48 and 49-54 was the gas tank straps in the back behide the seat? Anyone know why the 49-54 would be any different besides the gas tank mounting? thanks in advance. Having a terrible time finding a floor in stock anywhere. If you know anywhere they are in stock please let me know

There is a significant difference in the early 47-48 cabs verses the 49 when the tank moved to the inside on pick-ups. I am sure that is the reason.

The rear cab mounts changed in both style and position. Look closely at the body section in the shop manual.

There is also an inner sheet liner with an integral structure that encloses the center shackle. This liner runs from where the existing liner is above the belt line all the way to the floor. It takes up much of the room where the tank sits and was removed when the tank and body mounts were relocated in 1949.

I think you will only find one complete floor section offered by the vendors, usually your option is with or without the riser. I am sure it can be made to fit like any of the sheet metal parts available for these trucks.
