The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks Replacement cab options?

I have a 1960 Apache with a big window, which is rusty around the windshield, inside and out. I found 2 replacement cabs in Arizona. One is a small window and real clean for 650. Next is a big window, but with a cut up radio opening, and dents in the roof skin, otherwise clean, for 400. Is it cheaper to fix the dents and dash, or is it cheaper to do a big window conversion on the cleaner cab? It's really important to keep the big window option. Thanks for any suggestions.

The rear window conversion is an easy one. Just remove the inner panel from a donor truck and weld it into the small window cab. Then cut out the excess, Scott
