3b...what year was that? And I've never even seen a listing for a "1-1/4 ton" (?) Canadian only maybe?
PJ...I've been told the '40 gears will not work in the '41 to 52's. Something about it being a closed torque tube and in spite of being the same ratio won't fit the later rear ends. I too came across a 1940 set but was advised by the seller (California parts house)they would not work in my '46.
