Hy Tango, Canadian trucks were built in Canada, in Oshawa Ontario. In 1951 they dropped the tonnage designation and began using the g.v.w. for each series, the 1100 series g.v.w. was 11,000 l.b.s.. The 1100 series designation disappeared with the 1955 2nd or B series, hope that helps.
