As my manuals state the operation of the heat riser is purely automatic... meaning you could keep it off and still run the motor fine.
Doesn't "being automatic" mean 'able to change from one state to another'? As in 'Adjusting to changing conditions'.
That tells me something functions better at one stage and less so at another, or why build in the "automatic" in the first place?
Or are you saying 'take it off and it will automaticly be ok'?
Why didn't THOSE advertisers think of that?
Or are we talking the semantics between a motor running "fine" and one running 'better'?
I do believe that the bottom of the intake does derive a benefit of boiling off the pooled gas (as the charged incoming air makes that 90deg turn some fuel will drop out of suspension...
... But its not a meter heat that can be shut off or turned on...
So the system works your saying?
but that it doesn't 'meter' the heat till it reaches the range for that systems operation "automatically" when the spring opens and closes?
Would "It helps regulate the heat" be acceptable?
