Most people seem to refer to them as splash pans, and a lot of them have been removed and tossed... I have mine in my vehicle, keeps out the road debri and gunk, but if it never sees rain or bad road conditions...
Can you get a set for the 235 ?? or still requier mods ?? or maybe fabricate something similar for your application ??
