Loctite between the outside of the bushing where it mates with the steering knuckle will prevent movement in this area preventing wear of the knuckle if you were to neglect to properly lubricate the kingpins. The only part that is supposed to move is the kingpin inside the inner surface of the bushing. Generally when a kingpin is in need of replacement, it is due to lack of grease on the kingpin, causing it to seize to the inside of the bushing, therefore forcing the outer surface to turn on the inside of the steering knuckle, causing damage to the steering knuckle.
