pok, i have followed your instructions from above, and as far as removing the field terminal from the regulator, i have and i dont get any spark(yes ignition is on) I would like to try the full field test, but i am not capable of doing that because im not sure which terminal on the alternator is the battery terminal,( again remember this has 6 wires coming off of it. i am working on the wiring diagram to post here shortly, and will take pictures, however im still wondering where to post the pics. thanx for your help again. mike
