Hy Pinch, it sounds like you have some air trapped in your brake system, see if bleeding the brakes will take care of the problem. We usually advise everyone to do a complete overhaul of the brake system, for everyones safety, but try bleeding the system first to see if you can eliminate the problem, hope that helps.
