| | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 | Thats the exact filter I recently added. I decided to add it at the carb inlet. I have a fuel bowl type fuel filter which is easy to clean so I decided to place it at the carb.
If you go that route you'll need a short 1 1/2" to 2" straight adapter with 1/8 pipe thread at both ends. Remove the adapter at rhe carb and move it to the fuel filter inlet. Istall the straight adapter to the filter outlet and to the carb inlet.
I was able to carefully bend and move the fuel line to fit.
Took all of 20 minutes or so.
