This is an age old problem. Ohmage problem with fuel sender, compatibility problems with the other senders. You can use modern, conventional gauges in a "hidden location" and leave the orig in place. I would not trust old gauges with a new engine. Esp OIL press. But many do that. The modern update, vintage looking, speedo and gauge cluster is $475. You obviously have converted to 12V? What are you doing about that conversion regarding gauges?
The gauges are new just the original style, 12 volt v8 gauges but the plug and mounts are the same as the old just in a new gauge. The gauge and cluster are a bit more than $475. Gas gauge and cluster was about $550 for both. So the gauges are new just old style.
