Not to dig up an old thread (I know some people frown on that), but I didn't want to start my own thread since it related so closely to this one.
Why would someone use a V-8 engine crossmember versus this clean install? I may be looking into putting a later model L6 (230/250, etc) into my 54... and I'm just doing my research before I decide anything (and mainly I'm just curious)
