It has a 305 v8. I don't plan on hauling much. I don't know what rear ratio is. Probably 3:70?
I realize the newer saganaw is synro and stronger, but requires some changes to the driveshaft yoke and length. Not a big deal, I guess. Just want to get it to driver stage until I figure what my long term plans will be.
Bats62Chevy: I think up to 67 works. My truck trans is 16" lg. I think some early and later ones are 23" lg. Which do you have?
