My recent purchase of a 64 c10 has a stock 3spd that is growling in 1st and pops out of 1st at times. Any suggustions on the best route to take? I'm not against replacing it with same trans, but so far the only type I've found locally is the newer or older long tailshaft style. If I have to change driveshaft length and yoke for longer style I may as well consider other options like auto, 4 spd muncie, s10,or ?. Any ideas on the way to go? Thanks,
