I have finally finished an alternator conversion in my '59 3200 w/235. Everything works except when I step on the starter pedal. I get nothing.
I know it worked once because I cranked it once after the install. I installed the MAD kit and added the remote solinoid. I get the 12v on the battery side(direct connect). When I turn the key on i don't get power on the other terminal to starter. I have a purple wire from ign switch but it only puts out 6v. A blue wire that connects to the small terminal on the starter. I disconnected the amp gauge and installed a volt meter.
When I first finished the install every time I turned the key the solinoid would click. Now nothing, Any help!!
