The cab and sheet metal instruction manual sect 1 sheet 35.00 refers to it as hinge pillar reinforcement ,I'm guessing IT is in the hinge pocket....there is no threads in the hole , no sign of a nut being welded anywhere, ,no bolt hole through the firewall . the bolt or nut could never be serviced .
