Dittos here on the CPP stuff. Went in great and steers like a 60's Caddy!
Highly recommend updating all the other stuff; like sway bar, new tie rod and ends, etc. There are a lot more forces at work once it's power assisted.
I used a new column, too; but, as Pete says you just cut your original off and put a bushing in the end of it and get some D-bar and Borgeson joints to mate to the box.
