I finally found that the wire from the horn button area had been cut just outside the firewall and was taped over along with all the other wires going to the lights. I wired the horn up the way Baldy decribed and it works. Thanks Baldy...
It's interesting that the back-up light switch is in the same place as the neutral/park safety switch because neither works. I hope they are on the column and still work. That's now on my list.
