The directions I got with the horn shows two ways to wire it--there is single and dual terminal mounting instructions. I wired for single (trial and error again) where one wire goes to the horn mounting bolt. The other way is the way you decribe--I'll try that next. It would be easier if everything on the truck was the same as in the manual--no wonder I'm confused. But it's a learning experience.
