I recently adapted turn signals on my 49 3100 and use the front parking lights for turn signals & still maintain the standard parking light feature.
IMHO when I'm running w/the headlights on, I like the idea of the parking lights being off as it seems to make the flashing parking lights more noticable when using the turn signals.
The way traffic is around my way, I definitely want those around me to know when I'm turning and/or brakeing
