Back in the day, 1970 ish, I drove a 57 3100 with 3.9, had a 327 and sm420 all stock drum brakes, gas tank behind the seat etc. It had no problems cruising at 70 on a trip, and real good mileage too. And still here 40 years later to talk about it.
Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks. Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
