848 is good head for 235, geti it magnifluxed for cracks I have had to ditch a cracked head. It still impotant to check for warppage of block and head esp after severe overheating.again get the block passages cleaned out, check it all out even if it cost abit, peace of of mind goes a long way.you will know what youve got good luck
