Are you sure that the 15" wheels on your '54 3600 are the original wheels? 1954 hub caps may not fit other wheels.

16" wheels were standard. 15" wheels were offered in 1954 as RPO 273 with 6-ply tires; and as RPO 280 with 8-ply tires.

Tim or Brad can give the definitive answer, but I believe that 1954 wheels would have clips riveted onto them to hold the hub caps. Later model wheels have dimples to hold the hub caps.
