In your reply, please indicate if all 1955 car 235 engines have the same water pump location (earlier high, or later low); or, if there was changeover during 1955 (from high to low), as there was in truck 235s/261s?

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
