8thairforce,... I have a stock 6volt 41 pickup. all original. And I have a hot heater blower motor too. Found out when I left it on one night. Sounds like you found your culprit, the switch. I don't have the diagram here, but I think it's hot all the time. Mine is the three position switch, brown bakelite. up is off, then low and high.
